Living Foods

Living foods or raw foods as they are often called, are foods that have not been heated above 43 degrees Celsius.

Raw and living foods are also always vegetarian and vegan/plant based. They are sprouted seeds, nuts, grains, juices of all kinds, fruit, vegetables, herbs and salad leaves, simple ferments, wheatgrass juice, and specially grown year-round salads of baby sunflower and other germinated foods.

These enzyme-packed living foods take the burden off an overloaded system and allow it to recover. The high chlorophyll content of daily green drinks, sprouts, salad greens, and herbs act in two ways: chlorophyll's special action on the blood detoxifies and rejuvenates at the same time. This is the most gentle and thorough way to encourage and support natural healing. Living foods also include sprouted grain breads, dehydrated biscuits, and nourishing raw soups.

The complete living foods way of raw nutrition gives excellent nutrition in a safe and simple way, and at the same time it avoids the toxic results of eating chemicalized and processed foods. The highest quality foods are natural living foods. Amino acids minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates, trace elements, oxygen, enzymes and hormones are all present. Foods are always nutrient dense, full of flavour, vibrant, colourful and most importantly great for our health. A 100% living food diet is considered ideal, however, if you limit cooked foods to no more than 20% of your diet. The best cooked foods are steamed vegetables, baked winter squashes and sweet potatoes, and lightly cooked alkalizing grains such as amaranth, millet and quinoa.

Preparing this food is simple and easy, and many classes and workshops take place in the clinic.
